Accessibility statement

The standard we follow

We design and test this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. They cover the requirements of the harmonised European standard EN 301 549, which references WCAG 2.1 level AA and is the benchmark of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), transposed into Greek law by Law 4994/2022 (Government Gazette A΄ 215/18.11.2022).

Conformance status

www.triaena.gr is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: most of the content meets the standard, and the exceptions we know of are listed below.

Known limitations

• Map: the location map in the footer is embedded from Google Maps, and we cannot change how it works. Our full address is written next to it, with a link that opens the location in Google Maps.
• Legal documents: our Terms & Conditions and Cookies Policy are currently available in English only, including on the Greek version of the site. They are marked as English text so that screen readers pronounce them correctly.
• Images with text: some promotional graphics contain text. Each one has a text alternative.
• Other websites we link to, such as the members and registration portals, are not covered by this statement.

Accessibility features

• Accessibility menu. The button in the bottom corner of every page (or Alt + A) offers text size up to 200%; line, letter and word spacing; a readable and a dyslexia-friendly font; text alignment; link and heading highlighting; a text magnifier; dark and light high-contrast modes; colour inversion; saturation and monochrome modes; stopping animations; hiding images; a reading guide and a reading mask; a stronger focus indicator; large cursors; read aloud (text-to-speech); and a page-structure navigator. Your choices are stored only in your browser.
• Keyboard. Everything works with a keyboard, and a “Skip to main content” link is the first item on every page.
• Screen readers. Pages use real headings, landmarks and text alternatives for images.
• Zoom and reflow. Pages work at up to 400% browser zoom and on screens from 320 pixels wide.
• Motion. Automatic animations and carousels stop when your device is set to reduce motion or when you choose “Stop animations”. Carousels also pause while the pointer or keyboard focus is on them.
• Two languages. Content is available in Greek and English, and the language of every page is declared.

Compatibility

The website is designed to work with the two latest versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) on computers and mobile devices, and with assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.

How we tested

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on 19 September 2026: automated testing with axe-core on every page in both languages, and manual testing using only a keyboard, at screen sizes from 320 to 1920 pixels wide, and with each option of the accessibility menu.
